Yoga: Movement, Breath and Stillness
Every Sunday Evening 7-8:15pm
starting January 15th at Gym Laird Strength and Conditioning
$15 per class, $120 for 10 classes
Jill took her first yoga class in 2003, but did not start a consistent practice until years later when she found herself feeling unhealthy and trapped in her life as a mom to a medically fragile daughter. Through a consistent yoga practice and completion of a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course, she found a deep connection and love of the practices of yoga and mindfulness, both on and off the mat. These practices helped her achieve strength and acceptance, and the space to find understanding in the gift she was given through her relationship with her greatest teacher, her daughter.
She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training course at Solid Roots Yoga in 2016 and is so excited that yoga can become even more integrated into her life. Her classes integrate movement, breath and stillness in a joyful and encouraging environment. In addition to her time practicing yoga, Jill enjoys spending time in her garden with her chickens, lifting weights at the gym, snuggling with her daughter Sylvie, and sharing in adventures with her husband Keith.
